6,640 m a.s.l.
November 6–15, 2026
February 5–14, 2027 (Carnival) “Cumbre Argentina”
One of the most accessible peaks above 6,500 m a.s.l. in the Americas, it lies just a few kilometers from Route 60, with access to a Gendarmería (border police) post, a first-aid station and a hotel nearby, which makes it one of the most visited and safest mountains for getting started in high-altitude climbing.
This time we invite you to climb the Chilean summit route, which is more accessible than the Argentine one: we approach the base by 4×4 and rest in domes with cots and excellent service, in one of the most beautiful places along the border, “Laguna Verde”.
Sacred to the people of the Inca Empire, its summit holds remains of that civilization’s greatness and landscapes that are a gift to the senses.
Leave an indelible mark on your history as a mountaineer.
